NEW DUAL CONTROL AVANCE ELAN AND EXPANDED SHOWER HEADS RANGE FROM DOUGLAS CONTROLS

Following the success of its Avance Elite Thermostatic Shower Valve, Douglas Controls - the specialist supplier of thermostatic control solutions and accessories - has introduced a new dual control version, called the Avance Elan. Also, the company's range of Shower Heads has been expanded with several new additions.

New Avance Elan Thermostatic Shower Valve

Developed in response to market needs, particularly from the hotel/leisure and domestic sectors, the Avance Elan Thermostatic Shower Valve is a dual control device.

TMV3 tested and certified to NHS Estates DO8 Scheme it features separate on-off and temperature control. Easy-to-use with lever control option, the precise temperature control enables maximum temperature limitation setting, which with its anti-scald fail-safe shutdown on Cold water failure, ensures total safety for disabled users, and in high-risk applications.

Offering high performance, this durable device is the ideal choice for a single point shower application and is appropriate for all UK systems, as the one product fits all. For exposed or recessed mounting (exposed/recessed lever options), it is also available as matched sets of shower heads and flexible kits. Regulated flow at 8.5 litres per minute ensures high performance showering, water use efficiency and cost savings.

The robust solid brass construction with adjustable inlet swivel elbows, which provide full isolation, and pipe centres, make the unit easy to install with flexibility to accommodate building tolerance, so it's ideal for retrofit applications.

Its attractive contemporary design, in a chrome finish, means the Avance Elan is suitable for houses, hotels, student halls of residence, healthcare applications, homes for the elderly, sports/leisure facilities.

With versions for exposed or recessed mounting, features include choice of three spray patterns (full, focused, combined), ball joint head for angular adjustment, scale-resistant cassette (minimises cleaning), water-efficient flow regulator (8.5 lpm, use on high pressure), robust construction (brass, chrome plated).

Recommended pressures are 0.1-3.0 bar, with 15mm bottom connection (exposed) and ½" BSP (M) rear entry and designed for first/second stage fixing (recessed).

Comfort 3-5 Shower Head

For exposed or recessed mounting, features include choice of five spray patterns, ball joint head for angular adjustment, water-efficient flow regulator (8.5 lpm), robust construction (brass, chrome plated).

Recommended pressures are 1.0-3.0 bar, with 15mm bottom connection (exposed) and ½" BSP (M) rear entry and designed for first/second stage fixing (recessed).

Comfort Drench Shower Head

For exposed fitting features include 200mm diameter high quality Comfort Drench, shower arm projection (300mm), ball head for angular adjustment, robust construction (brass, chrome plated).

Recommended pressures are 0.5-3.0 bar with ½" BSP (M) rear entry connection.
